Take a Tour: Update Bug Status

Assignees can update the bug status using the quick view pane or the detailed Edit Bug page
Actual effort spent on each bug can also be specified with the bug along with other fields
Multiple bugs can be updated using Multiple Edit or by import from Microsoft Excel
Quality Assurance team is allowed to close the bugs while other people require special permission
You can see the complete history of the bug including threaded discussions related to the bug
